Local check-in and boarding system

CREWS LDCS is a local computerized check-in and boarding system that prints boarding passes and baggage tags and reads the boarding passes automatically at the gate. This system is designed for airlines that do not have a DCS or do not want to use their DCS on a site. It is often used by airports and handling agents processing low-cost and charter flights.

Features and benefits:
- Local passenger processing system
- Eliminates the need for manual operations
- Fast check-in and boarding
- Integration of IATA messages
- Easy for users and administrators to learn
- User-friendly solution

Local secure system

CREWS LDCS allows for computerized passenger processing, eliminating the need for manual operations.

All information needed for check-in and boarding is stored locally on the system, including flight lists, passenger lists, aircraft lists, registration lists and seating maps.

Easy Operation

Every day, CREWS LDCS extracts the daily flights scheduled in the seasonal program and automatically receives the passenger lists. The agent can then check in the passengers from a standard workstation and print boarding passes and baggage tags.
Although it originally supported both ATB magnetic and 1D barcode technologies, CREWS LDCS is now 100% 2D in compliance with the IATA “Simplifying the Business” initiative. It is also possible to reprint boarding passes and baggage tags if necessary.
Seat assignments are done either by entering the seat number or clicking on the cabin plan. It is also possible to have no seat assignments (free seating mode). CREWS LDCS also manages groups, which optimizes processing time.

The boarding application is an easy, user-friendly system. Boarding passes are read automatically at the gate for rapid boarding. The system has numerous features such as the ability to display a list of passengers who have not boarded and whether they have bags, create messages for the passenger displayed when the boarding pass is read and manage the number of passengers per class, per status, etc.

Passenger check-in at self-service kiosks

CREWS LDCS also offers an optional module enabling passenger check-in from RESA self-service kiosks installed at the airport. Thanks to this system, passengers are able to print their boarding passes themselves and drop their bags at a baggage drop-off counter (or proceed directly to the gate if they do not have any luggage).

An easy to use system

Thanks to a user-friendly interface, CREWS LDCS is very easy to learn. Users and administrators can be trained on the system much more quickly than on a standard DCS.
