Flight Information Management System

INFOPAX is a powerful Flight Information Management System that meets all the operational flight management needs of airports. It is composed of 3 functional modules: the reference database (AODB), the seasonal schedule and the real time schedule.

Features and benefits:
- Management of reference data
- Flights are entered in the form of a seasonal schedule
- The seasonal schedule is broken down by day
- Real time information on the flights for the day
- Open to external systems (accounting, statistics, etc.)
- User-friendly solution

The reference data

The operational database (Airport Operational Database) is the strategic key to airport management. It contains all the information on flights, such as airline codes, aircraft type, registrations, etc. It also contains all the physical resources allocated to the flight, such as check-in counters, boarding gates, baggage chutes, exits, baggage carrousels, and parking stands.

Seasonal and daily schedules

Based on information provided by the airlines, the airport creates a list of flights for a given period known as a “season”. This list defines the flight frequency and schedule. The seasonal schedule is connected to the operational database and contains virtually all available information on each flight, thereby considerably reducing input errors.

INFOPAX breaks the seasonal schedule down into a daily schedule showing all scheduled arrivals and departures for each day. Users can then group the flights by arrivals and departures, or provide additional information on the flights.

Real time schedule

Each day, users work on the current day in real time. They can update the flight status (delayed, cancelled, landing time, off-block time, etc.) from data received from the control tower, handling agents and the airlines.
The information is stored in the database and displayed to the public using the VISTA Flight Information Display System or any other system in place in the airport.
