Smart data processing
CASTOR automatically collects the IATA messages from the airlines (MVT, LDM, SLS, PTM, etc.) then decodes them, regardless of their format.
The messages are then matched with the data from the Flight Information Management System (airline codes, stopover codes, aircraft codes, noise, landing time, parking stands, check-in counters, boarding gates, baggage carrousels, etc.), preventing errors due to manual input. |
Optimized billing
The matched information is sent to the airlines for validation or modifications if necessary. Modifications are flagged and checked by the airport. The airlines explicitly approve the flight information that is used to generate invoices, which greatly reduces the number of contested invoices and speeds up the billing cycle.
CASTOR also checks the consistency of the data (empty fields, load checked against aircraft type) before sending them to the billing system. The automated billing process is highly reliable since it is based on comprehensive information. |
