As part of the PCP (Pilot Common Project) proposed by the ACI, in which airports using INFOPAX have decided to participate, INFOPAX is moving towards the A-CDM standard.
The Airport CDM approach aims to improve the overall efficiency of operations in an airport. Particular emphasis is placed upon the rotation of aircraft and the management of sequencing before departure. The CDM process provides precious benefits, notably increased reliability of takeoff times, potentially improving planning while en route and sectors of the European ATM network.
In order to comply with the first CDM requirement, Advance ATC Tower, INFOPAX already includes DPI/FUM messages and RESA is working on integrating all of the other required data: approach by milestones (rotation process), variable haulage time, control of departure sequencing, degraded conditions via the information-sharing platform, etc.
